CAMWorks Mill-Turn, seamlessly integrated with SOLIDWORKS, provides multifunctional machining that combines advanced milling and turning capabilities within multi-tasking machine centres. This robust system supports C, Y, and B axis machining at complex compound angles and enables 5-axis simultaneous machining, significantly enhancing the operational versatility of both milling and turning processes. Features recognised by Automatic Feature Recognition (AFR) and detailed using Interactive Feature Recognition (IFR) are fully utilised in Mill-Turn configurations. IFR is especially valuable for defining 3-axis features suitable for Y-axis milling and wrapped features for cylindrical machining via C-axis motion. The operations that are generated for these features align with those in CAMWorks for 2.5-axis milling, 3-axis milling, and turning.
